2012 Continuing Education Classes

• Thursday, June 21st and Friday, June 22nd
• Instructor: Tim Reed - Certified RE Instructor, Real Estate Commission & Licensed Broker
• Ivy Tech Community Center
• Cost: $99.00 for 16 hours or $20.00 for each 2 hour session *member pricing only

These sessions satisfy CE requirements for both Sales licensees and Brokers and the *NAR Quadrennial Code of Ethics requirement. The deadline to take the Code of Ethics course is December 31, 2012. Course training will include an in depth look at the Legislative Law process, recent license law changes, Code of Ethics, Anti Trust, Working with REOS etc..
Deadline for Salesperson CE is June 30, 2012. *Deadline for NAR COE Training is Dec. 31, 2012.

On-Line Education Courses

The Elkhart County Board of REALTORS® has partnered with 360training.com to offer members the opportunity to complete their 16 hours of continuing education on-line. Courses are available for Brokers, Sales Agents and Appraisers who need to complete their State Licensing. Quadrennial Code of Ethics Training

Every four years, members are required to take 3.5 hours of Code of Ethics training to maintain their REALTOR? membership. The current cycle begins January 1, 2009 and ends December 31, 2012. Members who are interested in taking the NAR Mandated Code of Ethics Course online can do so by following the link listed below.

The course is free to all members. Members who complete the course are required to send completion information to the Board office prior to the end of the current cycle which is December 31, 2012. Members who have not completed an approved ethics course by the end of the cycle will have their membership suspended as of January 31st and terminated by March 1, 2013.
