Property Panorama Free Virtual Tours

The MLS of Elkhart County has partnered with Property Panorama to offer members Free Virtual Tours for any MLS listing. Once created, tours can be syndicated to Google, YouTube, Zillow, Twitter and more. Tours can be branded and unbranded (for MLS purposes) and can incorporate unlimited photos. The Virtual Tour software integrates an award winning Lead Capture program and offers a host of other marketing opportunities all free of charge such as MobileMedia Tours, Video Tours and PodCast Tours. Simply click on the links above and check out all that you can today for your Listings.

Wi-Fi

Paragon Wireless Interface (Paragon Wi-Fi) is offered free of charge through the MLS. "Wi-Fi"access means that real-time MLS data is available from any Phone or PDA that has access to the Internet. No extra MLS fees or downloads are required. The phone or PDA must have Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) enabled to use this application.

Simply open the phone or PDA's Internet browser and enter http://elkhart.fnismls.com/paragonwifi. If you have a phone with a larger screen, enter http://elkhart.mobile.fnismls.com. A screen will appear requiring a user name and password - enter your Paragon MLS User Name and Password and you are ready to search the MLS from anywhere! It's that simple..

You will be able to search active, pending and sold data. Each listing will display 1 photo and many data fields. Search by:

1. Street Name
2. Street Number
3. MLS Number
4. Quick Search

Associated Documents

How to Upload Additional Information to Your Listing.

Members can add additional documents to their listing such as seller disclosures, lead base paint disclosures etc. by simply faxing the documents to a third party to be formatted and processed. This ensures that the uploaded documents have consistently and members can view and print them.

Associated Documents can also be emailed to your customers and clients in addition to the listing. However, the MLS system automatically marks all Associated Documents as Private, which limits access to MLS members only. Offices can go in and change the private status to a public status and then the Associated document can be emailed to the public. For more information, review the Associated Docs link on this page.

eTruth Datashare Program

Many MLS’s across the country have entered into licensing agreements with third parties, such as Realtor.com, that gives them a license to access and display listing data within the dictates of the licensing agreement. The eTruth Data Exchange Program operates under a contractual licensing agreement created by the Broker Reciprocity Task Force and approved by the MLS Board of Directors.

Basically, this means the MLS agrees to license the residential listing data to the Truth and the Truth agrees to display the listings on www.eTruth.com with a manner agreed upon by both parties. The main conditions of the agreement provide that:

1. All residential listings will be displayed on www.eTruth.com in a thumbnail and detailed display. The thumbnail and detailed “basic package” layout will be no charge.
2. The basic package layout includes a listing photo, a location map, all pertinent data fields as determined by the task force, agent photo & contact information including agent phone #, email address & website.
3. The public can contact the agent directly through email or phone.
4. Non-MLS listings will not be mingled with MLS listings.
5. The Truth agrees not to sell leads back to the membership.
6. The data will not be used for any other purpose.

The public can go to www.eTruth.com and click on the real estate section. From there they can search for listings in a variety of ways including price, location, basic fields such as bedrooms and MLS number. A thumbnail report and detailed report is available containing listing information and listing agent/office contact information.
