How To Become An ECBOR Affiliate Member
Joining the Elkhart County Board of REALTORS® as an Affiliate is a straightforward and rewarding process. Affiliate membership is open to individuals, businesses, and organizations that support the real estate industry in a professional capacity. This includes lenders, inspectors, title companies, appraisers, insurance agents, contractors, local service providers, and other related partners.
If you are interested in building relationships with local REALTORS® and expanding your presence in the Elkhart County real estate market, becoming an Affiliate is the perfect first step.
Step 1
Determine Eligibility
Affiliate membership is available to anyone who works in a field connected to real estate or community services. This includes both individuals and companies who are not licensed REALTORS® but wish to be involved in the ECBOR network.
If you are unsure about your eligibility, contact the ECBOR office and speak with our staff. Examples of eligible Affiliate members include:
- Mortgage lenders and loan officers
- Home inspectors and appraisers
- Title and escrow professionalsInsurance agents
- Contractors and home service providers
- Marketing, media, or photography professionals
- Government and nonprofit organizations
Step 2
Download And Complete The Membership Packet
To begin your application, download the Affiliate Membership Application below or request a copy from the ECBOR office. This packet includes the application form and information about dues and policies.
You will need to provide basic information about yourself and your business, including contact details and a brief description of the services you offer.
Step 3
Submit Application And Payment
Submit your completed application and payment to the ECBOR office in person, by mail, or by email as directed in the membership application packet.
Step 4
Application Review and Approval
Once your application is submitted, it will be reviewed by ECBOR staff. Most applications are approved promptly, and new Affiliate members will receive a welcome packet with important information about upcoming events, sponsorship opportunities, and how to get involved.
Step 5
Get Involved
After your membership is approved, you will be added to our Affiliate directory and email list. You will begin receiving communications about events, meetings, CE classes, and more.
We encourage you to attend functions, sponsor events, and join committees to build connections and make the most of your membership. This is your opportunity to form strong relationships with REALTORS® and other industry partners across Elkhart County.
