New Member Information
Welcome to the Elkhart County Board of REALTORS®
We are excited to welcome New Members to ECBOR! ECBOR has proudly supported our REALTOR® and Affiliate Members for over 115 years! This page is designed to provide guidance on the New Member process.
Required Training for New Members
New Members must complete New Member Orientation and MLS Training within the required timeframe.
NAR Code of Ethics Training
New REALTORS® must complete 2.5 hours of new member Code of Ethics Training within 30 days of joining ECBOR. Existing Members must complete COE Training every 3 years.
Fair Housing Training
New Members must complete 2 hours of NAR Fair Housing Training within 90 days of joining ECBOR. Existing members must complete 2 hours of approved Fair Housing Training every 3 year
MLS Training
New REALTOR® members with MLS access must complete approved Paragon Academy Courses within 30 days of joining. New MLS Participants must complete MLS New Office Orientation.

Overview of What You Can Expect
Becoming a Member of ECBOR is a simple process. All membership documents are available on ecbor.com, and the New Member Intake process is all done online!
Submit a completed application and pay the appropriate fees.
Receive your welcome email and log-in details for member systems.
Complete membership documents and submit to ECBOR, then attend New Member Intake, Orientation, and pay New Member fees.
Access MLS tools, lockbox services, and your member dashboard.
Begin enjoying all the benefits of ECBOR, IAR, and NAR membership.
What Comes Next?
After completing the New Member requirements, you can begin to take advantage of your ECBOR Member benefits. You can access the IRMLS system and take advantage of all that is offered.
We encourage new members to get involved with ECBOR committees and begin networking with other REALTOR® and Affiliate Members.
